It is proper Netiquette to keep your password private. Don't share passwords.
Sharing a password breaches the security of an entire network. It makes the account insecure. Every account on a network is compromised when a password is acquired by someone without proper authorization. It allows users with fake credentials into a network. Data and engagement with the network is invalidated.
If you do not value your account enough to protect your password, don’t ruin it for everyone else. Keep your password private. It is easy to be peer pressured into sharing passwords with someone we think is our friend. It is hard to understand that a friend would not put us in that situation.
Keep your password private because sharing it compromises the network.
